About Me

I am a Liscensed Massage Therapist. I graduated from the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Va. My very first encounter with massage was when I was 9 years old. My father had diabetes and always wanted me to "chop-chop" his legs which I now know is "Tapoement" . My father would always tell me "you have blessed hands girl" back then all I wanted to do was go outside and play with my friends. Before graduation I joined the military serving 6 years ending my time in Washington State. From being apart of the military to owning my own Ice Cream truck to flying the friendly skies as a Flight Attendant I never truly felt fulfilled. It was not until I was at a friends house and encoutered her sister, whom of which had Muscular Dystrophy a crippling desease. I don't know what exatly drew me to go and massage her hands, but I did. That moment was a defining moment in my life as I had known it. The joy in her eyes when she saw her fingers move from a crippled state and the smile that grew on her face as if seeing something beautiful for the very first time, touch my heart so and a tear fell down. It was in that moment that I knew what I was destine to do, follow my surpressed passion in the healing arts. 6 months later I put in my notice with the Airlines and followed my passion fulltime. Masage Therapy has changed my life in ways I could have never imagined.Honestly, I could not see myself doing anything other that Massage Therapy. I look forward to hearing from you.
